This side of you

“no…this doesn’t seem good” i sighed as i took an Eraser and deleted some drawing, today i have planned to go out today with Chaeryoung since it was a long time since we had a date and since i had some time before our date, and I was ready so i have decided to continue my drawing i started a while ago of Chaeryoung.

i only started drawing in the Start of the Quarantine when boredom was really common in the day so i have decided to learn to draw as hobby, and even though it has been a year or so i am not that good it is something i enjoy doing once in a while.

“Y/n!” I heard my mom’s shouting from downstairs, as i got up i took my Sketch book from my shelf and headed downstairs. And as i walked down i saw chaeryoung looking at me with her cute smile, her Brown and silky hair slightly hid her gorgeous brown eyes, she was also wearing a beret, she was also wearing a plain white dress, she was also holding a Wooden basket which inside it had some food

“its been a while huh” Chaeryoung said with a cute smile she always wears when we are together as i just laughed a bit and hugged her.

“aw you two are so cute together” my mom said as she took a picture of us without noticing and looked at me with a smile of a proud mom seeing her children being nice to each other, “so where are you going for your date?” she asked both of us

“we thought about just hanging at the park together, just some casual picnic” i replied while i took from the fridge 2 water bottles and gave one to Chaeryoung, “we are going now, i will come around dinner” i said as i gave a hug to my mom as we got outside and walked straight to the park, with my hand in Chaeryoung’s hand.

“so…how did you spend your time in home? You know, with all of that quarantine and stuff?” Chaeryoung asked me, as she looked at me with a cute smirk

“uhhh….Nothing much, just being bored at home” i lied, i did want to tell her initially about me learning to draw trough YouTube videos but i did want to keep it as a surprise for another date. after a couple of minutes of walking, and we finally found our place we decided to do our picnic, it was near a big Tree which me and Chareyoung used to go to a good amount of dates together before the Pandemic had started

“this is a great spot we picked” she said as she spread the Mat on the grass and in the meanwhile i opened the Basket, inside there was a couple of Sandwiches Chaeryoung has made for us and inside there was also some fruits Like Apples and Bananas, “Bon appétit” she smiled as we both started to eat the sandwiches.

“wow they are so good” i said, smiling after tasting the Sandwiches, for the meanwhile we just did what A couple does, as she looks at me with her Adorable smile which i couldnt resist, a thought suddenly came into my head. “Chaeryoung…can i show you something?” i asked her as i tapped her shoulder

“uh sure, what do you want?” she said, i just took from te bag my drawing notebook, she did look a bit confused but her face changed 180 degrees as she saw what i showed her. it was a drawing Chaeryoung’s smiling and even though in my opinion it wasnt that good since it wasnt completely ready, chaeryoung was just sitting there with her mouth wide open.

“is that…me?” she asked as i just nod my head in agreement, suddenly she grabbed the notebook from my hands and started skimming it, after the drawing of her there were some basic stuff i drew like trees, some animals and i did tried to draw a Scenery of a forest, but based on her laugh i knew she saw how i drew the sky which was not that good, “Wow Y/n you draw so good, how much time did you work on those?” she asked

“well…i started around the start of the pandemic, since i was really bored my mom suggested to me to try something new, so i started learning to draw from videos, though i don’t really consider myself that good” i replied, quite surprised to see the positive reaction to my drawings,

“well i think they are fantastic, though…is ok if you will draw me again? ” She asked with a smile and even added her pout, but i already gave up and accepted her request so i just took the notebook from her hands, got my pencil and an Eraser from my bag and started to works when suddenly she stopped me

“wait let me pose for you” she said jokingly as she just laid down on the Mat with her face looking directly at me.

“you’re really going to take this seriously?” i asked her as she just replied, so i just rolled my eyes and started drawing her, “you know… i think it’s good at least someone knows this side of me” i said to myself
