Winter's new choice of bedmate takes you by surprise. And, strangely enough, it's not because she's moving in with you.
To her credit, Winter moves fast with a girl she likes.
Nowadays, it’s a little under a week between the “my partner and I are interested in you” stage and the “my partner and I want to put a baby in you” stage. It’s hyperbole (to a degree) but it’s ultimately par for the course.
This, though, seems a little too much a little too fast:
Sakura's moving in with you.
“It'll be easier to share clothes,” is Winters initial rationale, already dusting the vanity in the guest suite. And while her reasoning down the line will almost inevitably be more sexual in nature, that is the kicker—the crux of it all:
They wear the same size.
There’s but a scoff and a reluctant nod of the head from your end. It is, after all, Winter’s week to bring home a bedmate, and there’s nothing in your vague, theoretical constitution for your “arrangements” that explicitly forbids her bringing home a house one.
Can’t exactly feign surprise, either. Fact of the matter is that you were the one to sow these seeds.
So, "fine by me,” is really all you’re qualified to say. Tack on the obligatory question of, “when’s she moving in?”
But you’re entirely aware it’s pointless. You already know exactly what she’ll do. Exactly what look she’ll give.
Exactly what she’ll say.
And, right on cue, she goes through it like a checklist: her dusting stops, her look of concentration turns mischievous, and her eyes burn into yours.
Sigh.
“Tonight.”
