November 20th, 1904, Scotland.
‘The return of two young women to the recently restored Duff House, a large estate unoccupied for years, has been the subject of many whispers. The ladies in question, Miss Yu Jimin and Miss Uchinaga Aeri, have reportedly returned from Ireland. Their arrival was quiet, and their presence has remained so, which has fueled many rumors.
The locals find it rather strange that the ladies are never seen in daylight. Some say that lanterns burn within the estate deep into the night, others that they have seen chilling shadows move past the windows.
Their furtive habits can be seen as a way of getting used to their new life, if not for the strange things that have been reported to us. Out of the twelve workers hired for the house’s renovation, four have vanished. Their families received handwritten letters with cash signed only with the initials “J.A”. No further explanation was given to them.
The whispers grow louder by the day, some saying that the house is cursed, that the ladies are not what they seem to be. Others say that the town has grown colder since their return, and that crows seem to be gathering near the house.
Is it just a suspicion? Or has something darker returned to town?
We'll continue our investigation.’

The wind whistled against the windows hard enough that Jimin thought they could crack open. She pulled the blanket tighter around her shoulders and listened to the scrape of crows shifting on top of the roof. The fire in their bedroom had burned low, but she hadn’t bothered to stir it up.
Aeri had been gone for too long. She missed her.
Every time she closed her eyes, she felt the ache in her throat; hunger was easier to ignore when her lover was there, when she had her arms wrapped around her. Alone, it only grew worse.
The door finally creaked open and Jimin immediately turned to face it. Aeri stepped inside and lowered her hood, her hair damp, her lips slightly colored and a smile playing on her lips. “My dear,” she said softly.
Jimin stood up and rushed to her side. “Darling,” she whispered back, her fingers reaching for the heavy coat. She tugged it from Aeri’s shoulders and set it aside. “You’re late.”
Aeri smiled and brushed her cold fingers against her cheek. “Forgive me, I had to be careful tonight, the town isn’t as quiet as it once was.”
“You could’ve been caught.” Jimin murmured as she leaned into her touch.
“I wasn’t.” Aeri pressed a featherlight kiss to her forehead. “I’m here now.”
Aeri always had a way with words that never spared Jimin. She was weak when it came to her, but it didn’t matter. She pulled her in for a kiss, her lips parting and her hand sliding to the back of her neck. Aeri kissed her back immediately, initiating a soft battle of tongues and slow kisses.
Jimin broke away to catch her breath after a moment. “I missed you,” she whispered, pressing her forehead to hers.
Aeri smoothed her thumb to her cheekbone. “And I missed you more.”
Jimin swallowed hard, the ache in her throat surging again. “I need you..”
It wasn’t anything new, it was a habit now. Aeri tugged her collar loose and tilted her head to give her some space. “Then come here love.”
Jimin’s hands settled at her waist as she leaned in, her lips brushing against Aeri’s throat. She slowly opened her mouth, pressing wet kisses on her pulse point that never beat. When she pierced the skin with her fangs, Aeri gasped, her hands tangling in her hair.
