What fic of yours are you most proud of? What fic of yours did you have most fun writing?

Oh god you probably asked this to the worst person out here. Most people who know me know I have, um, confidence issues. It's hard for me to really believe what I write is any good, but that's another can of worms. However, the fic I am most proud of? I think in more recent times, it has to be a toss up between Unreal and Birthday Gifts for Mama. Unreal is a dedication to my twin Qwib and his love for Liz. Crazy stuff but I wrote that all in one night just to make it on time for our birthday. HAHA. And it turned out well! Birthday Gifts for Mama is my first ever attempt at a textfic thanks to Okay's challenge. The submissions on the angstier side of things usually involved sudden/implied [REDACTED], so I thought I'd try and play around with that. I only really decided on the 'lore' or background info about the characters, and the story just wrote itself through the back-and-forths. I'm proud of both because these are both fics I managed to write out with minimal to no structured preparation beforehand. I've always been an outliner-r, but fics like these help me push out of my comfort zone and make me trust my gut more. As for what I had the most fun writing, it's a toss up between Tomorrow Without You and Spaghettification. TWY is my first ever series that has almost 50 chapters, which I had started writing weekly back in January of 2022. It's a declaration of my budding love for IVE and the girlies, but also the dynamics between them. I hope to properly revise and port that over here on Fanprose in full. And of course continue/finish the story. Haha. Spaghettification is ... self-explanatory. My first ever prompt. Part of my first ever anthology of works ~<5k words. And my first time writing Rei x reader. If TWY is dedicated to IVE, Spaghettification represents my, um, 'transformation' into a non-closeted Rei bias. I had fun writing it because I got to exercise many different writing muscles. And of course, Rei! Thank you for the ask! I appreciate it <3
