I believe that ever author has something they want to say when they right so I’m curious as to what you believe you have to say when you write

I'm going to assume you meant "write" and not "right," hehe. Starting from there, I think what I want to achieve when I write is, primarily, my own satisfaction. There's nothing I write that I know I wouldn't read in my daily life. Then you might say to me, "But Spren, of course it has to be that way! You have to like your own work!" Well, not necessarily. Many writers tend to be condescending to their readers; they constantly give them what they want and are constantly swayed by public opinion (even if they deny it). This leads them to write things that, while they might like and enjoy them, aren't what they would have done in the first place because their judgment is already biased by what others will say. What I'm trying to say is that what I seek when I write is for readers to easily recognize and realize that what I write is by and for me, and it just so happens that a bunch of people also like it. And another thing, of course, is demonstrating how enriching a good plot, well-developed character chemistry, and good world-building can be for smut. I don't mean to say that smut without a plot is bad; quite the opposite, I find it excellent, and I even enjoy it from time to time. However, I find it extremely offensive that some people downplay or ignore the plot because they want to get to the smut faster. I feel like that's something only mediocre readers do. But hey, yeah lol
