What do you think your favorite idols say about your personality as either a writer or to other?

Not sure how representative my answer will be because I only have one self-contained work, but I gravitate strongly towards characters wounded by life in storytelling. As for my idol preference, I similarly admire idols who have publicly spoken about having gone through struggles that I strongly identify with e.g., Yeji’s struggle with perfectionism and being able to verbalize her feelings. I think there’s something really brave and incredible about falling short, doubting yourself, and trying anyway, and I hope to transmit that in every character that I create to honor the namesakes that inspired them. So I leave a piece of myself in all of them, too. It helps me feel less alone, sometimes, and it is my wish that other people feel the same way when they see my interpretations of them. What this says about my personality I am not sure!
