The comments and reception has been overwhelming, to say the least. So I wanna say thank you to everyone for the kind words. I didn’t think anyone would resonate with feeling like they’re less of a fan, or maybe say I’m too parasocial/obsessed (I probably am tbh) So some notes about the last concert: I really was more than happy to have one foot in the door. They announced it back in December, I just so happen to be writing the 12 Days of IZ*Mas which would have funded this excursion. Then Christmas buying happened and when initial ticket selling started, I only had enough for upper box seats. Maybe it wasn’t meant to be close this time; but at least I wasn’t missing them this time completely. Next thing you know, it’s April. Heeseung and Mark leave. Danielle is sacked. NMIXX isn’t coming here for their own tour (which I was planning to go all in if not IVE). So now, the fear creeps in: what if they don’t come back for the third tour. What if I have to fly out to see them. I still think I might; they only sold 87% of the seats this time compared to 95% in 2024, so that could be the deciding factor. Nevertheless, I was now looking for resellers and lucked out since I got VIP from someone at a discounted price since they had a schedule conflict. And I’m still feeling like OC. Wonyoung only went to our section at the very end of the show during the final goodbyes, which sucked. Yujin only went to us three times and ignored my sign. My QN was bad that extended stage was virtually impossible (unless I wanted my camera to be blocked by taller imposing people), and most of their interactions happen there. In general, my view was bad for 90% of their performances since the main stage was elevated and extended was obviously crowded. It was practically a miracle I got the interactions from the other four (shoutout Rei my fanservice GOAT), but it really do be your biases that ignore you the most. Still enjoyed though. Being with friends was the cherry on top.
