sharing some thoughts and observations on the platform i hope get fixed in due, unpressured time! 1. there seems to be this bug where, when importing a work, words that are italicized have a space added before and after should that text be not italicized; for example, after quotation marks, an italicized portion in between a word but not the whole word, etc. 2. there’s no way to publish a work with chapters with the next chapter drafted, at least based on what i’m seeing. if a chapter is to be added in, it has to be with finality. which isn’t a big issue since drafting is easy, but “saving” a chapter draft actually publishes it 3. mobile support (which includes tablets btw) on the text editor seems really buggy. like, you can’t select text properly and the cursor disappears or is not responsive to tapping on another portion of the textbox. i’m not sure what causes this and/or if this is actually just limited to iOS (which would explain the text box issues, fuck apple), but it’s a severe hamper to using a mobile browser
