I read this quote (don’t remember where) some time ago that went along the lines of: “an ordinary love with someone who sees you is the most extraordinary thing”. I’m not sure if this is even a real quote or some bastardized version of the Twilight wedding speech, but it nevertheless left such a profound impact on me that it eventually became the root of every romantic dynamic I’ve written or will write. And also because I had this once, didn’t understand the value of it then, and fucked it up.
