every time i get sleep paralysis, i always dream of what i can only describe as an "alternate" reality. My eyes were "open" and I could see the things in front of me that made sense—some pillows, my arm in the air from the weird position i fell asleep in, the picture frame on my wall. I could see the silhouette of my little sister place an ipad next to me and the voice of my aunt saying that there's money inside. Confused, I tried to sit up to inspect the ipad, but I couldn't move. My vision started to glitch out, with everything frozen like someone had hit pause and part of the screen was flashing black like the lights behind the monitor were failing. I could feel myself try to move, my entire body willing an arm to slap me in the face. My eyebrows were twitching like someone had fallen asleep on their keyboard, filling their entire google doc with M's. And then I woke up :D have a good day, babies
